Today I’m using a fabulous eco-friendly silver cleaning option to remove oxides from sterling silver ✨ I rarely clean my jewelry 🤦🏻‍♀️ but when I do, I LOVE this option because it is super quick and works really well for my pieces that are highly textured… and y’all know how much I love texture in my work! What you’ll need - baking soda - aluminum foil/baking pan - boiling hot water - tarnished sterling silver Be cautious with pieces that have stones — Softer stones are not suitable for this cleaning method. Also, if your piece was intentionally oxidized then use a polishing cloth on the high points instead or else you will lose the aesthetic of the piece.
