OPEN DESIGN: Stamped Earrings Workshop

STERLING SILVER EARRINGS WORKSHOP

Join me for an open-ended earring design workshop where every participant can create a truly unique pair of earrings that reflects their individual style.

Participants will have the freedom to experiment with a variety of hammers, texturing tools, and metalworking techniques to shape, texture, and personalize their earrings.

Rather than following a single design, this workshop encourages exploration and creativity. Participants can play with different forms, textures, marks, and finishes to create a special pair that is entirely their own.

Come experiment, make your mark, and leave with a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings designed and signed by you.

No previous experience? No problem. This workshop is designed with beginners in mind.

Sawing and shaping silver
Stamping and texturing designs
Finishing and oxidizing your earrings

One pair of custom sterling silver open-design earrings—designed and handcrafted by you

THE DETAILS

Skill Level: Beginner-friendly (no previous experience required)
Duration: 3 hours
Class Size: Max 12 participants for plenty of one-on-one guidance
Age: 15+ (unless discussed in advance)

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

Sterling silver materials kit ($40, available for purchase at the studio)
If you would prefer to make these earrings in cooper with sterling silver ear wires the materials kit is $15 (please put a note when you purchase your seat)

WHAT TO BRING

Hair tie (if you’ve got long hair)
Glasses (if needed for detail work)
Magnifying glasses (if you have difficulty seeing small objects)
Earplugs (optional—hammering can get loud!)
Good vibes + excitement to try something new

THE SPACE

FORM metal studio is located on the second level of the Studio Arts building on 15th Ave. Due to the age and design of the building, there is no elevator.
Not recommended for those with mobility concerns due to the large flight of stairs required to access the studio and a fair amount of standing during the workshop.

GOOD TO KNOW

Spots are limited to keep the experience intimate
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred with notice
Creative flow can run overtime. Please allow an extra 30 minutes just in case
