CUSTOM DOG TAG MAKING WORKSHOP

Calling all dog lovers! 🐾 Join Urban Alchemy at FORM: Metal Studio for a ridiculously cute and creative workshop where you’ll make a custom dog tag for your very best furry friend.

In this fun, beginner-friendly 2-hour workshop, you’ll turn a piece of metal into a personalized tag made especially for your pup. Choose your shape, stamp their name, add a little personality, and finish it off with your own handmade touches. Whether your dog is a tiny lap gremlin, a big goofy floof, or the neighbourhood’s most distinguished gentleman, they deserve a tag made with love!

No experience? No problem. This workshop is all about having fun, getting creative, and making something special for the dog who has your whole heart.

• How to plan and lay out your design
• Hammering and texturing techniques
• Adding your own creative details and personality

One custom handmade dog tag for your fur baby.

MATERIALS KIT

Dog Tag Materials Kit: $10

Materials kits will be available for purchase in the studio and include the metal and components needed to create your custom dog tag.

WHAT TO BRING

• Hair tie (if you’ve got long hair)
• Glasses (if you need them for detail work)
• Magnifying glasses (if you have difficulty seeing small objects)
• Earplugs (optional—hammering can get loud!)
• Your dog’s name, nickname, or favourite thing to stamp onto their tag
• Good vibes + lots of puppy love 🐾

THE SPACE

FORM metal studio is located on the second level of the Studio Arts building on 15th Ave.

Due to the age and design of the building, there is NO elevator.

Not recommended for those with mobility concerns due to the large flight of stairs required to access the studio and a fair amount of standing during the workshop.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Spots are limited to keep things intimate.
• Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred with notice.
• Creative flow can run overtime. Please allow an extra 30 minutes just in case.
• Your dog does not need to attend the workshop—but they are absolutely welcome to supervise your creative process from home.
• Come prepared with the name or wording you’d like to put on your tag.

Come solo or bring a fellow dog-obsessed friend! You’ll leave with a custom tag made with love for your favourite four-legged family member—and hopefully earn some serious tail wags when you get home. 🐕💛
