Step into Urban Alchemy + Lux Adorn’s newest creative hub in Prince George, FORM:metal studio – a space where creativity is shared, connections are forged, and adornment becomes part of your story. From hands-on metalsmithing workshops to intimate private events and permanent jewelry appointments, each experience is designed to be personal, intentional, and memorable. The Studio is more than a place to make jewelry – it’s where you create together, connect deeply, and wear the moments you’ve made.

WEDDING BAND WORKSHOP
Create Your Rings. Together.
Looking for a meaningful, hands-on way to celebrate your commitment? This private wedding band workshop is designed for couples who want more than just rings. They want something meaningful and hand built, together! Over the 3+ hours in the studio, you’ll be guided step by step through the process of crafting your own custom bands from wire or sheet metal. From shaping and soldering to hammering and finishing, this experience is all about connection, creativity, and making something deeply personal you’ll wear every day.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a private workshop for one couple, giving you a relaxed, personalized experience with plenty of one-on-one guidance.
You’ll learn the foundations of metalsmithing while creating your rings, including: Measuring and sizing your bands, Sawing, forming, and shaping metal, Soldering your rings closed, Hammering and texturing (or keeping them sleek and minimal), Filing and refining your rings for a clean finish .We will build the rings in copper before working with your final material so you can feel confident in your design choices. After the workshop, I will professionally polish your rings to give them a beautiful, finished shine.
PRICING
- Workshop Fee: $475 per couple
(Includes private instruction, studio time, copper samples, and all tools)
Materials (not included in workshop fee):
- Sterling Silver Kit: $75 per couple
- Gold: Custom quoted based on current market price and your design
- Stones: Potential for me add stones after you build your bands
Materials are selected and finalized after booking, so everything feels right for you.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Hi there, I’m Briana – the hands behind the torch and your guide in the studio.
I graduated from jewelry design school in 2014 and have been teaching workshops since 2018. What started as a love for metalsmithing quickly turned into a passion for sharing it – because there’s nothing quite like watching someone create their very first piece by hand! I’m endlessly drawn to the tactile, intimate process of working with metal: the hammering, shaping, and that very satisfying sizzle when hot metal hits water… and that first successful solder? Pure magic, every time.
My classes are relaxed, supportive, and full of encouragement (with a few laughs and cheesy flux jokes along the way). I believe jewelry should feel personal – something you’re proud to wear because you made it. I’m so honoured to share this craft with the Prince George and northern community. I can’t wait to create with you!
