Join Urban Alchemy at FORM: Metal Studio for this very sought after workshop and create your own custom copper with sterling silver hammered spinner ring. With tons of texturing or stamping options, no two rings are ever the same. This is your chance to get creative and make something truly yours.

In this hands-on 4-hour class, you’ll learn the art of silversmithing from start to finish. You’ll measure, cut, solder, hammer, stamp, shape, and polish your very own 9mm wide spinner ring with stacking spinner. This all happens in a fun, relaxed, and supportive space. No experience? That is fine – however, I do recommend taking the stacking ring or textured band ring in advance, so that you have a better understanding of soldering and metal.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

• How to size and measure rings
• Soldering and forming copper and sterling silver
• Hammering, stamping, and texturing techniques
• Finishing your piece for a clean, polished look

WHAT YOU’LL MAKE

• One custom hammered copper spinner ring with a delicate sterling silver spinner for the top.

WHAT TO BRING

• Hair tie (if you’ve got long hair)
• Glasses (if you need them for detail work)
• Earplugs (optional—hammering can get loud!)
• Good vibes + excitement to try something new

THE SPACE

• FORM metal studio is located on the second level of the Studio Arts building on 15th ave.
• Due to the age and design of the building, there is NO elevator. 
• Not recommended for those with mobility concerns due to the large flight of stairs to access studio.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Spots are limited to keep things intimate
• Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred with notice
• Creative flow can run overtime. please allow an extra 30–45 minutes just in case
