Details: Reticulated silver has a higher percentage of copper that makes the alloy more unstable than sterling silver. When heated the metal morphs into these highly interesting valleys and ripples. I adore working with reticulated silver as it has a mind of its own and each time creates a slightly different texture or form, thus making each piece one of a kind. These echo earrings are light with plenty of visual interest amongst the bright, cool contrast of the London blue topaz* and dark, oxidized metal.
